Day 1: London to Exmouth
Depart London and journey south west through the South Downs National Park. Stop at Winchester, home to one of the biggest cathedrals in Europe. Continue through the New Forest to one of England’s most impressive natural wonders, Lulworth Cove. Enjoy a coastal walk to take in the unforgettable views. Explore the coastal town of Exmouth, with its golden sandy beaches and delicious seafood. Overnight in Exmouth.
Day 2: Exmouth to Falmouth (Breakfast included)
This morning venture to Dartmoor National Park. Marvel at the stunning views, deep wooded valleys, medieval farmhouses and Bronze Age stone circles. Stop at the famous Clapper Bridge at Postbridge, then enjoy lunch in the market town of Tavistock. Continue through Bodmin Moor, before travelling to the coastal town of Falmouth. Spend the next two nights in Falmouth.
Day 3: Falmouth (Breakfast included)
Travel to Mousehole to explore this beautiful quaint fishing village. Then head to Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean (extra charge). Continue west to Land’s End, England;s most westerly point. Walk along the clifftop and take in the stunning views before stopping at St Ives.
Day 4: Falmouth to Bristol (Breakfast included)
This morning make your way to Port Isaac, the filming location for Doc Martin. Discover this pretty village with its picturesque white washed cottages. Visit Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur. Stop at Boscastle, home to an unspoilt harbour village, before arriving in Bristol. See Clifton’s iconic suspension bridge. Overnight in Bristol.
Day 5: Bristol to London (Breakfast included)
Today explore the Cotswolds and the town of Cirencester. Immerse yourself in the sleepy beauty of these limestone villages. Spend the afternoon in Oxford, a bustling university city know as the ‘City of Dreaming Spires”. Explore all that Oxford has to offer before your return trip to London.
