Day 1: London to The Cotswolds
Pick up your hire car in London and drive to the Cotswolds, admiring the picture-postcard scenery. Spend the next two nights in the Cotswolds.
Day 2: The Cotswolds (Breakfast included)
Spend the day exploring the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds, including Broadway, Chipping Camden and Bourton-on-the-Water. Discover Bibury and the cottages of Arlington Row.
Day 3: The Cotswolds to Bath (Breakfast included)
Drive through the southern part of the Cotswolds. Stop at Bradford-upon-Avon and visit Castle Combe, known as the ‘prettiest village in England’, Lacock Village has been used as the setting for many films and TV shows. Continue to Bath,a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight Bath.
Day 4: Bath to Cornwall (Breakfast included)
Travel through Somerset and Devon and drive across Exmoor National Park. Cross the border into Cornwall and admire the sandy beaches and fishing villages. Spend the next two nights in Cornwall.
Day 5: Cornwall (Breakfast included)
Spend the day exploring Cornwall. Head to Mousehole, a tiny fishing village and visit Fowey, with its medieval streets and Georgian buildings. Polperro is a fishing village with beautiful cottages clinging to steep hillsides or visit St Michael’s Mount.
Day 6: Cornwall to Dorset (Breakfast included)
Journey south along the Jurassic Coast. Stop at villages such as Salcombe in Devon and Abbotsbury in Dorset. Overnight Dorset.
Day 7: Dorset to Kent (Breakfast included)
Drive along the Sussex coast, stopping in the many villages, castles and vineyards along the way. Visit Shaftesbury, with thatched cottages and quaint tea rooms. Historic buildings line the streets of Battle and stop at Rye, a medieval town perched on a hill. Spend the next two nights in Kent.
Day 8: Kent (Breakfast included)
Spend the day at leisure discovering Kent, also known as the ‘Garden of England’.
Day 9: Kent to London (Breakfast included)
Arrive back into London to drop off your car rental.
