Day 1

Transfer from London to Llandudno for four nights. Dinner included.

Day 2

Excursion into Snowdonia National Park, enjoying the wonderful scenery and joining the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Trains depart from Llanberis station and cross two viaducts, travelling past majestic waterfalls, through amazing rock-littered landscapes, and onto Clogwyn Station, which is 3/4 of way to the summit.

We also call at Caernarfon.  Home to the Wales’ most famous castle, the town’s maze of narrow streets and the stylish redeveloped waterfront are a delight to explore.

Day 3

Day at leisure or Anglesey

Relax in Llandudno and explore this popular seaside town at leisure. Enjoy a stroll along the level seafront, wander along the grand Victorian pier or perhaps take the tramway or chair lift to the summit of the Great Orme and enjoy the beautiful views.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Anglesey, as we cross the Menai Strait and call at Llanfair PG, the village with the longest name in the country.

Day 4

A real holiday highlight is in store today. Dreamy arrays of colourful blooms and intriguing architecture make the stunning Italiante village of Portmeirion a magical day out.

Situated on its own private peninsula, overlooking spectacular coastal scenery, enjoy a stroll around the formal gardens within the surrounding wilderness of exotic plants and pretty woodlands. Portmeirion was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976 to show how a naturally beautiful site could be redeveloped without spoiling it and Portmeirion is now one of Wales’ top attractions.

Return transport to London.

Marine Hotel, Llandudno

Occupying a fabulous position on Llandudno’s seafront, the Marine Hotel is a classic Victorian-style hotel, boasting stunning views across the Irish Sea. Just a short walk away is the Llandudno Pier, along with a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and attractions. After a busy day exploring North Wales, enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel’s indoor pool, or relax with a well-deserved drink in the bar and lounge area. The hotel also has an impressive restaurant, offering a selection of breakfast options and a varied menu for the evening.
